AFMEC, the Spanish Association of Contract Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering, is a new association conceived to group and service companies involved in machining, metal forming, boilermaking and everything concerning metal-mechanical manufacturing.
AFMEC is managed with support from the professional team of AFM Cluster, the organisation representing interests of Advanced and Digital Manufacturing in Spain. From its headquarters in San Sebastiam and its office in Tianjin (China), AFM Cluster works to promote internationalisation, technological and industrial development, strategic positioning and capacity-building of personnel in its member companies.
Represent the Spanish industry of Contract Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering, building a coherent, understandable and differentiated image of the sector and providing information on it.
Provide a forum for associated companies where they can share information about market conditions and the development of advanced machining technologies, and collectively treat common interest issues.
Encourage business cooperation, creating networking opportunities among the different market agents.
