FAYMASA TO LAUNCH BASIC 180HR SWARF REMOVAL MACHINING COURSE ON 3 OCTOBER

27 June, 2023The distinguishing factor of the centre lies in its proximity to the business world since the centre itself is built into a company, Faymasa, which has become an industry benchmark in Palencia and has an ambitious future outlook.

The training centre's mission is to offer specialised teaching in the manufacture of capital goods, the value of which lies in ensuring the qualified students are 100% employable, with the necessary skills and aptitudes to stand out on the job market.

The training centre targets a demographic of between 16 and 55 years of age, potentially suiting the following:


- Young people who have completed basic compulsory education and who wish to learn a trade and enter the workforce immediately.
- Unemployed adults looking to recycle their knowledge or pivot their training in order to find work.
- Workers who wish to perfect their knowledge in order to improve their skills within their working environment.
- Private companies and public bodies that do not have a training department and are required to train in their staff in order to develop tasks on the job.

Throughout the course, students will execute swarf removal machining processes, metal forming and special procedures, preparing, programming and operating the different machine tools and verifying the product made.

Training modules:

1. Manufacturing processes.
2. Drawing and plan reading skills.
3. Measuring instruments for machining.
4. Performing practicals at our work centres.

Upon completing the training, students may access the Faymasa job pool with the possibility of immediate recruitment at its work centres.
