CORDOBESA DEL ACERO AND SAMA CONSOLIDATE AS SAMCOR GROUP AFTER 35 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Cordobesa del Acero and SAMA have taken a decisive step in their business evolution with the creation of SAMCOR GROUP, a renewed corporate structure that integrates three specialized companies to strengthen their leadership in steel distribution and processing in southern Spain.

What began in 1991 as a local warehouse has now become an industrial group with more than 12,000 m² of facilities, its own fleet, and a presence in international markets such as Portugal and the United States. The new organization is structured into three divisions:

• Cordobesa del Acero, focused on the distribution of carbon steel and structural profiles.
• Sama Distribución, specializing in stainless steel, aluminum, and polymers.
• Sama Transformados, dedicated to laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, and custom metal solutions.

The creation of SAMCOR GROUP responds to the need to provide a more comprehensive technical response to an increasingly complex market, strengthening the group’s ability to offer integrated solutions based on quality, service, and specialization.

The group has been awarded the Andalucía Excelente 2023 prize and holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, demonstrating the robustness of its processes and its commitment to continuous improvement. This strategic evolution is accompanied by a renewed corporate identity, both digitally and physically, as well as a stronger presence on social media to highlight its activity and the professional team behind it.

With this new structure, SAMCOR GROUP enters its next phase with a stronger foundation, a more complete offering, and a clear commitment to sustainable growth within the Andalusian industrial ecosystem.
