04 April, 2024Ferroloiu, a renowned company in the metal cutting and processing sector, has recently announced the significant expansion of the work table of one of its advanced plasma cutting machines, a strategic change that strengthens its position in the market by optimizing its production processes.
The work table on a plasma cutting machine is an essential component, as it not only provides support for the material during the cutting process but also integrates advanced systems for efficient fume and gas extraction, ensuring a safer and cleaner working environment. The extension carried out by Ferroloiu has extended the length of the table to 26 meters, making it possible to cut sheets up to 12 meters long. This innovation allows the company to simultaneously work on collecting parts from an already cut sheet while processing another, resulting in a significant improvement in continuous cutting time and, therefore, an increase in production capacity.
Ferroloiu currently boasts two TECOI plasma machines, advanced systems for plate processing, which have work tables of identical dimensions and capacities. These machines are equipped to perform automatic cutting, marking, beveling and drilling, which puts Ferroloiu in an advantageous position to meet the growing demand for its services with greater efficiency and precision.
