Hermanos Alfaro has officially joined AIMEN Technology Centre, a leading Spanish institution dedicated to innovation and applied industrial research. This step reinforces the company's commitment to continuous improvement, technological collaboration, and access to cutting-edge developments in the field of advanced manufacturing.
Based in Galicia, AIMEN has established itself as a national benchmark in materials science, manufacturing processes, digitalisation, and sustainable industrial development. Founded in 1967, the centre has led over 280 R&D&I projects in the past decade, works with more than 500 companies, and employs a technical staff of over 330 professionals, including 65 PhDs.
The integration of Hermanos Alfaro into this technological network represents an opportunity to continue expanding its activity in on site machining and grinding, as well as in the production of short and medium series in complex materials such as stainless steel, duplex, alloy steels, composites, engineering plastics, copper and bronze. The company, with more than four decades of experience, has two industrial warehouses, 5-axis CNC machining equipment, laser welding and its own technical office, enabling it to offer precision machining solutions adapted to demanding industrial environments.
Access to AIMEN’s innovation environment will allow Hermanos Alfaro to participate in collaborative projects, adopt emerging technologies, and strengthen its ability to address key challenges such as automation, process digitalisation, and sustainability.
This partnership reflects a broader trend in the industrial sector: leveraging technological knowledge as a driver of competitiveness, operational efficiency, and differentiation in a global market.
