INDRA AND INMAPA STRENGTHEN INDUSTRIAL COLLABORATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF DEFENSE STRUCTURES AND SYSTEMS

Indra has reached a collaboration agreement with the Palencia-based group INMAPA to advance the manufacturing of structures and engineering developments for military vehicles and defense systems. The partnership combines Indra’s technological capabilities with INMAPA’s expertise in engineering, advanced manufacturing and high-precision machining, consolidating a strategic cooperation within the defense industrial sector.

The agreement includes the identification of new joint opportunities in the national, European and international markets, with the aim of strengthening Spain’s defense industrial base. According to Indra, this collaboration will help accelerate the development of systems and platforms, increase responsiveness and deliver greater value in a context of growing demand.

INMAPA highlights that this step opens the door to participating in highly relevant technological programs, strengthening its activity and contributing to industrial development in Castile and León. The company has extensive experience in sectors such as aeronautics, defense, railway and automotive, providing knowledge and production capacity for highly complex projects.

The initiative is aligned with the Ministry’s Defense Industrial Strategy, which underlines the importance of a strong industry, territorially distributed and capable of supporting modern Armed Forces. Through this collaboration, both companies move forward in strengthening the national industrial fabric and consolidating strategic capabilities in the defense sector.
