MECÁNICA BRAÑOSERA RECEIVES THE TALENTO CANTABRIA AWARD IN THE ESTABLISHED COMPANY CATEGORY

MBR Mecánica Brañosera has been recognised with the Talento Cantabria Award in the Established Company category, as part of the sixth edition of these awards organised by El Diario Montañés, which recognise the track record and contribution of businesses to Cantabria’s economic and industrial development.

The company began operating in the late 1970s in Requejo, founded by Fidel and Cholo with very limited resources and a firm commitment to establishing their own industrial business in their home region.

Since then, MBR Mecánica Brañosera has steadily strengthened its production and technological capabilities and now operates advanced machining equipment, including large-scale five-axis milling machines. Having weathered the 2009 financial crisis with a workforce of just three, the company now employs nearly 50 professionals.

The award highlights the company’s evolution from its beginnings to becoming an established specialist industrial business, as well as the growth of its technological and production capabilities over recent decades.
