MEKALERUN STRENGTHENS ITS METROLOGY CAPABILITIES WITH THE ADDITION OF THE SB 1 TYPE 1000 ADJUSTMENT BENCH

MEKALERUN has recently enhanced its metrology area with the installation of the SB 1 Type 1000 adjustment bench, a high-precision device developed by Hoffmann Group. This tool enables precise calibration of bore gauges and other measuring instruments for both internal and external dimensions, reinforcing dimensional control across its production processes.

The adjustment bench is built on a solid granite base with high-precision guides, ensuring superior stability and accuracy during operation. It is specifically designed for demanding industrial environments and features a 10-inch TFT touchscreen optimized for workshop use.

Key technical specifications include an internal measurement range of 1 to 1016 mm and an external range of 40.1 to 1056 mm, with a repeatability accuracy of 1 micron. The system is equipped with multilingual software, USB connectivity, and full compatibility with Hoffmann Connected Tools (HCT), enabling digital management of measuring equipment.

Additional features such as adjustment history and customizable favorites further enhance traceability and efficiency during tool calibration.
