SAMA TRANSFORMADOS BOOSTS ITS LASER CUTTING CAPABILITIES WITH NEW BYSTRONIC EQUIPMENT

Sama Transformados, a company with over 20 years of experience in steel product manufacturing and distribution, has recently upgraded its operations with the installation of a ByCut Smart 6225 fiber laser cutting machine from Swiss manufacturer Bystronic. This investment marks a major milestone in the firm’s ongoing strategy to enhance its technological competitiveness.

The new equipment, powered by a 10 kW fiber laser, can process sheet metal up to 6200 x 2500 mm, enabling both large and small part production. The integration of the BySoft CAM Cut software allows for automatic and efficient nesting, significantly reducing material waste and improving production flow.

The new laser machine complements Sama Transformados’ existing equipment, which includes shearing lines, bending machines, panel benders, punching tools, and welding systems. The ByCut Smart excels in cutting a variety of materials: up to 25 mm carbon steel, 30 mm stainless steel and aluminum, and 15 mm brass and copper. Its latest-generation cutting head ensures precision, top-edge quality, and low operating costs.
