TAES EMBARKS ON A NEW STRATEGIC PHASE FOCUSED ON EXPANSION, TECHNOLOGY AND DIGITALISATION

TAES, a company specialised in precision deep drilling, is entering a new stage of development after more than 55 years of activity, as recently reported in the Basque economic press through an article published by Empresa XXI. The company is evolving from a model centred on operational excellence towards a more mature strategic approach focused on growth and strengthening its value proposition.

One of the key pillars of this new phase is expansion into the French market, one of the most relevant in Western Europe for advanced manufacturing, with leading clients in the aerospace and defence sectors. TAES has already initiated first contacts by showcasing its capabilities at the MIDEST – Global Industrie trade fair held in Paris, laying the groundwork for its international development.

On the technological front, the company has incorporated a Sunnen HTC-4300 W honing and lapping machine, enhancing its ability to deliver components with highly demanding tolerances and surface finishes for hydraulic, aerospace and precision applications. This investment enables TAES to complete the full process from raw material to final finishing, reducing risks and dependencies for clients.

In addition, TAES is advancing towards a truly digitalised shop floor, with analysis systems connected in real time to production data, improving traceability, decision-making and service quality. All of this while maintaining its specialisation in complex materials, demanding geometries and sectors where error is not an option, supported by EN 9100:2018 certification.
